Monsieur Marceau: Actor Without Words by Leda Schubert, illustrated by Gerard DuBois  (Roaring Brook, 2012)

This is the story of the amazing French mime, who acted without words. As a child, he loved the antics of Charlie Chaplin, the silent film star. During WWII he resisted the Nazis, and led children to safety. Then, he created the character of Bip and became the most famous mime in the world. The 2013 NCTE Orbis Pictus Award Winner for Outstanding Nonfiction for Children!
