Juliette Gordon Low, founder of Girl Scouts
Growing up, Daisy embraced every facet of life. Which was unusual for a girl in Victorian times. So when she grew up, she wanted to help others live to the fullest, too. Especially girls. After discovering the Girl Guides group in England, she founded the Girl Scouts in America. And this year the group celebrates its 100th birthday!
