MFA Workshop Day in the Lone Star State

I will be joining a parcel of other writers from around the country this Saturday, Oct. 3rd as we welcome some Vermont College of Education’s MFA alumni for an exciting workshop.

The core workshop is titled “Taking it to the next Level” and will be attended by Vermont graduates and aspiring writers who are indeed ready to ascend the next level in their literary craft.

The much esteemed Kathi Appelt and Sharon Darrow are offering lectures about; writing novels, braiding the character’s emotional trajectory into the story’s event trajectory, writing picture books, and the plot sentence & major/minor dramatic questions.

The fabulous Debbie Gonzales has done a tremendous job of coordinating a fabulous day.
